Responding & Writing letters to members` correspondence for signature by the Membership Director.
• Typing special letters for the Institute Secretary relating to members (i.e. regarding suspensions of membership)
• Ensuring that the amendments to members records are made and follow up actions are completed
• Managing the membership department e-mail account. Responding to queries and*or forwarding them on to the appropriate person*department for response as and where necessary
• Processing Fellowship upgrades, associated fees and producing related correspondence. Obtaining further information where necessary in support, prior to passing for approval. Execution of monthly Fellowship elections and production of relevant letters for signature by the Institute Secretary. Collation of Fellowship statistics for the Board. Production and despatch of Fellowship letter
• Processing applications for membership upgrades and any related correspondence.
• Handling inbound telephone calls, providing first line support to members and customers. Dealing with general queries and providing information on the products and services
• Administering visits from members of formal and informal associated Institutes. Notifying relevant departments accordingly and arranging for the issue of temporary membership cards.
• General office filing • Providing cover for other team members during absence and cross-training to assist in other areas of the department where the workload(s) is high • Act as back up for conducting member tours of the Pall premises and keeping accurate records • Research and updating of members` records where mail has been returned. Forwarding on mail as and where appropriate • Checking data input for new applications and amending records where necessary
